Laigueglia – The Granfondo Internazionale Laigueglia is going for two. The Bruno Zanoni Memorial Gravel Experience is born.
Free free pedaling (independently) on a 32-kilometer route with an 800-meter elevation gain to discover the most picturesque corners of the hinterland. The ride is open to Gravel bikes – MTB – E-bike Gravel and MTB.
“Last year at the end of the 25th edition of the Granfondo Internazionale Laigueglia, I had shared with my collaborators the idea of organizing a non-competitive event to be included in the calendar of initiatives related to the Granfondo. This is nothing new,” Vittorio Mevio points out, ”since we also gave life to a pedal ride on the occasion of the awarding of the Gran Trofeo Gs Alpi circuit, bringing several cyclists to discover the Savona area. After the passing of Bruno Zanoni, who besides being a friend was also the first organizer of the granfondo, we decided to change the name of the initiative from Gravel Experienìce Granfondo Laigueglia to Gravel Experience Memorial Bruno Zanoni. For twenty-six years now, thanks to Granfondo Laigueglia we have been giving life to a complex of activities, such as the organization of sporting events, the enhancement of local excellence and the organization of promotional initiatives that through cycling allow people to discover the Ligurian territory, which in many cases then turn into the usual vacation spot for many cyclists.”
